Cloud over parts of QLD, NSW, VIC, northern NT and WA with multiple troughs is triggering showers and storms, some severe in southeast QLD and NSW. Cloud moving over southern SA with a front is causing patchy rain to develop. Cloud over TAS in moist winds is bringing showers.

Hail falls near Toowoomba as severe storms move across South-East Queensland

A series of severe storm cells have impacted South-East Queensland from the Gold Coast north to Kingaroy in the South Burnett where the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) at one point warned of a "very dangerous" system moving south.

'Carbon copy' storms to ramp up in Queensland's south-east
