Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, New South Wales Minor Flood Warning For The Woronora River Issued at 02:11 PM EST on Friday 30 May 2025 Flood Warning Number: 2 MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WORONORA BRIDGE LATE FRIDAY EVENING ON THE HIGH TIDE High tides may cause minor flooding along the Woronora River at Woronora Bridge late Friday evening. Woronora River: Minor flooding may occur along the Woronora River. The Woronora River at Woronora Bridge is currently at 0.52 metres and falling with the tide. The Woronora River at Woronora Bridge may reach the minor flood level (1.50 m) late Friday evening on the high tide. Flood Safety Advice: In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500. * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place. * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood. * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains. * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water.
