Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Final Flood Warning For Wollombi Brook Issued at 12:52 PM AEST on Saturday 23 August 2025 Flood Warning Number: 8 FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT BULGA The main flood peak along Wollombi Brook has now passed Bulga, where river levels fell below the minor flood level late Saturday morning. Wollombi Brook: Flooding is no longer occurring along Wollombi Brook Wollombi Brook at Bulga is currently at 2.96 m and falling slowly, below the minor flood level. Wollombi Brook at Bulga is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
