Weather Situation A moist northeasterly flow produced heavy showers over the Tasman Peninsula earlier this morning. The showers have weakened. cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas: South East and East Coast This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Beware of fallen trees and powerlines. * Avoid driving, walking or riding through flood waters. * For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132500.
