Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Minor Flood Warning For The North Esk River Issued at 10:39 AM AEST on Wednesday 01 July 2026 Flood Warning Number: 2 MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT CORRA LINN Since Tuesday morning, moderate rainfall has been recorded across parts of the North Esk River catchment, which has resulted in river level rises. Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment for the remainder of the week. Minor flooding is occurring along the North Esk River at Corra Linn, where river levels are expected to peak Wednesday afternoon. Minor flooding is likely to continue for the remainder of the week, with renewed river level rises possible in response to forecast rainfall. Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn: Minor flooding is occurring along the North Esk River at Corra Linn. The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 2.87 m and rising, above the minor flood level (2.70 m). The North Esk River at Corra Linn may peak near 2.90 m Wednesday afternoon, with minor flooding. Renewed river level rises are possible with forecast rainfall. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
