Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Minor Flood Warning For The Lower Condamine River Issued at 12:04 PM AEST on Thursday 31 July 2025 Flood Warning Number: 3 MINOR FLOOD PEAK EXPECTED AT LOUDOUN BRIDGE DURING THURSDAY AFTERNOON Moderate rainfall was recorded across the upper Condamine region on Saturday and Sunday, resulting in river level rises along the upper and lower Condamine catchments. No flooding is expected at locations downstream of Loudoun Bridge where minor flooding is occurring. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days. Condamine River downstream of Oakey Creek to Cotswold: Minor flooding is occurring at Loudoun Bridge. The Condamine River at Loudoun Bridge is currently at 6.23 m and steady, above the minor flood level (6.00 m). The Condamine River at Loudoun Bridge is expected to peak around 6.30 m during Thursday afternoon, with minor flooding. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
