Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Final Flood Warning For The St Georges Basin Issued at 09:19 AM AEST on Sunday 06 July 2025 Flood Warning Number: 10 MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT SUSSEX INLET The river level at Sussex Inlet is expected to remain below the minor flood level on the high tides. No significant rainfall totals are forecast over the next few days. St Georges Basin: Minor flooding is no longer expected in St Georges Basin. The Sussex Inlet is currently at 0.41 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Sussex Inlet is expected to remain below the minor flood level (0.90 m). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
