Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, New South Wales Final Flood Warning For The Dumaresq Creek Issued at 06:17 AM EDT on Saturday 22 October 2022 Flood Watch Number: 2 MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT ARMIDALE The Dumaresq Creek at Armidale peaked below the minor flood level late Friday afternoon. Further rainfall is forecast during the weekend which may cause renewed river level rises. The situation is being closely monitored and warnings will be issued as necessary. Dumaresq Creek: Minor flooding no longer expected along the Dumaresq Creek at Armidale. The Dumaresq Creek at Armidale peaked at 2.65 metres late Friday afternoon, below the minor flood level (2.90 metres) The creek is currently at 1.27 metres and falling. Flood Safety Advice: In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500. * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place. * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood. * Avoid being swept away.
