Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, New South Wales Final Flood Warning For The Paroo River (Nsw) Issued at 10:09 AM EST on Thursday 01 May 2025 Flood Warning Number: 36 FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT WILLARA CROSSING The Paroo River fell below the minor flood level at Willara Crossing late Wednesday night. Paroo River (NSW): Flooding is no longer occurring along the Paroo River (NSW). The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 0.67 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (0.70 m). Paroo River at Wanaaring: Cancellation Flood Safety Advice: In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500. Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place. Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood. Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains. Never drive, ride or walk through flood water.
