Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Final Flood Warning For The Namoi Rivers Issued at 11:24 AM AEST on Friday 12 September 2025 Flood Warning Number: 93 FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT GOANGRA The main flood peak along the Namoi River is now downstream of Goangra, where river levels have fallen below the minor flood level during Friday morning. Namoi River: No further flooding is expected along the Namoi River at Goangra. The Namoi River at Goangra is currently at 5.49 m and falling slowly, below the minor flood level. The Namoi River at Goangra will remain below the minor flood level (5.50 m). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
