Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Final Flood Warning For The Shoalhaven River Issued at 11:32 AM AEST on Thursday 03 July 2025 Flood Warning Number: 3 FLOODING IS NO LONGER EXPECTED AT NOWRA AND TERARA River levels along the Shoalhaven River have peaked on Wednesday and no further flooding is expected. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days. Shoalhaven River: No further flooding is expected along the Shoalhaven River. The Shoalhaven River at Nowra peaked at 2.33 m AHD around 05:00 pm Wednesday 2 July, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 1.45 m AHD and falling, below the minor flood level. The Shoalhaven River at Nowra is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.30 m AHD). The Shoalhaven River at Terara peaked at 2.22 m AHD around 04:15 pm Wednesday 2 July, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 1.40 m AHD and falling, below the minor flood level. The Shoalhaven River at Terara is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.20 m AHD). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
