Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, New South Wales Final Flood Warning For The Macleay River Issued at 05:46 PM EDT on Sunday 30 March 2025 Flood Warning Number: 3 FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT BELLBROOK AND KEMPSEY The Macleay River at Bellbrook is peaking below the minor flood level and no further flooding is expected downstream at Kempsey. Further rain is forecast across parts of the Macleay River catchments from the middle of the week, which may cause renewed river level rises and flooding along the Macleay River. The situation is being closely monitored and the flood warning will be updated as required. Macleay River: No further flooding is expected in the Macleay River. The Macleay River at Georges Creek peaked at 5.90 metres around 07:15 am Sunday and is currently at 5.18 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (6.00 m). The Macleay River at Georges Creek is expected to remain below the minor flood level. The Macleay River at Bellbrook is currently at 5.05 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (6.50 m). The Macleay River at Bellbrook is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.50 m). The Macleay River at Kempsey (AHD) is currently at 1.36 metres and steady, below minor flood level (4.50 m).
