Warnings for Sunday 16 August

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Central West, Lower West, South West, South Coastal, South East Coastal, Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and westerly winds are expected during Sunday. Areas likely to be affected include the Central West, Lower West, South West, South Coastal, Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt forecast districts and parts of the South East Coastal forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 pm WST Saturday.

Western and southwestern WA is in for another wild couple of days as a frontal system crosses the region over the next 48 hours.

Wettest August in years for far western NSW

After widespread falls last week, another rain band swept much of NSW during Friday, making monthly totals already exceed the average in some places.   Bourke and Cobar collected 13mm from this last rain event, which makes the total rainfall so far this month exceed 30 and 40mm, respectively.
