  • Tuesday Partly cloudy. Light winds becoming S/SW 15 to 25 km/h during the morning then becoming light during the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 13 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching 24 to 30.

  • Wednesday Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower in the far east. Light winds becoming S 15 to 20 km/h during the afternoon then becoming light during the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 7 and 11 with daytime temperatures reaching 21 to 26.

NSW bushfires surround Sydney but conditions ease for now

Conditions have eased since the New South Wales bushfire crisis arrived in Sydney on Friday, but authorities warned that residents were "not out of the woods yet".
