    A trough is generating active storms across SA while a following low in the Bight is directing southerly winds and some showers across southern WA. An unstable airmass over the northern tropics is bringing showers and storms to the Top End and WA's north.

    A cold front, low and trough will track across eastern Australia, causing showers and storms, some intense, in a swath from northeast WA to the NT, Qld, SA, NSW, Vic and Tas. Cool southerly winds behind the trough for WA, moving into SA. Showery onshore winds for northeast Qld.

    Another cold front should bring a burst of cool, showery weather to Tas, Vic and southeastern NSW. A high pressure ridge will mostly clear SA while maintaining showery easterly winds over east Qld. A trough over WA will continue to gather moisture and warmth, producing storms.
