Cleaning up after Seroja as severe weather spreads inland

Communities along the west coast of Western Australia are this morning assessing the damage caused by Severe Tropical Cyclone Seroja, which made landfall near Gregory last night.  Seroja come barrelling towards the coast as a category three severe tropical cyclone late on Sunday.

Tools rescued from NSW floods repaired by Men's Shed volunteers to help in recovery effort

In a rescue mission of a different kind, flooded tools and machinery are being repaired on the NSW Mid North Coast and returned to their owners to help in ongoing recovery efforts.  Like many others, Andy McCoubrie could do little but watch as homes and businesses were flooded three weeks ago, including his own workshop.
