Rain for the south

Rain for the south

Rain is on the way for parts of South Australia and Victoria tomorrow as a frontal system crosses the south.

A cold front currently over Western Australia, will make its way east pushing into western parts of SA later today.

Showers will begin to develop in the late evening for the West Coast, with a band of rain then spreading east across the SA during the early hours of Wednesday. This rain will also spread throughout VIC during Wednesday .

Widespread falls of 10-20mm are possible over most districts in SA and VIC. Localised heavy falls of 20-30mm are possible over parts of SA's Mid North and Mount Lofty Ranges,  and VIC's West and South Gippsland.

Conditions will dry out from Thursday, however showers will persist along the coast for the next few days as a series of fronts cross to the south.
