Melbourne sunny, but not for long
Rob Sharpe

Melbourne is enjoying a mild and mostly sunny day, but it won't last long as cloud and showers will prevail for most of the week.
Today is a stunning day in Melbourne with the sun heating the air to make it one of the warmest days so far this winter. However clouds will move in from the west this afternoon, bringing a sign of wetter weather to come.
Tomorrow will be a cloudy day with a shower or two arriving during the afternoon and evening with a front. Another front will arrive around the same time on Wednesday but there will be more sun during the day.
Thursday is looking like the sunniest and driest day of the coming week, but cloud and wind will increase late in the day. During the evening rain will develop, lingering into Friday morning.
Friday morning will be a wet, cold and windy day with rain easing to showers during the morning. Cloud cover will keep most of day near 12 degrees, with the strong winds making it feel less than 10 degrees.
During the weekend the showers will only be occasional and the wind will ease. The sun will also make a more obvious appearance, but it will only warm each day to 15 or 16 degrees, making it a similar weekend to the one that just passed.
