Cold mornings, fog and frost for the Nation's capital

After a cool and foggy morning in Canberra on Sunday, the afternoon is looking very nice.

The day started with temperatures dropping to zero degrees and areas of fog with light winds and relatively high humidity. Temperatures are likely to reach 17 degrees today.

Tomorrow is looking much the same as today with areas of fog and frost likely. The morning will drop to zero and rise to 18 degrees during the day.

The rest of the week is looking very nice with sunny conditions persisting and lows of near zero and daytime temperatures at almost 20 degrees.

Election day in the capital this Saturday is looking to reflect the election turmoils, with cloud building and potentially a shower or two.
