Cold Father's Day in store for the southeast

Cold Father's Day in store for the southeast
Father's Day in the southeastern states will be a cold affair, with temperatures likely maxing out in the mid-teens for many places. Sydney will get to around 16 degrees on Sunday, there will be some cloud about but it looks unlikely to bring any significant rain. Sunday morning on the coast should be a cool to mild morning, colder in the west. Of all the capital cities, unsurprisingly it is Canberra that will have the coldest morning. There will be a freezing morning followed by a daytime maximum of 14 degrees. It will, however, be a mostly clear day. Down in Melbourne, more miserable conditions are expected. A minimum temperature of six degrees is expected going on to reach a maximum of 12 degrees. Cloud cover looks to be more extensive as well, as does the potential for a possible shower. Cold conditions will also greet Adelaide on Sunday, with a maximum temperature of 14 degrees. Again, there will be some cloud about and the chance of a shower. It comes as no surprise Hobart will cold, however there is less chance of showers. Father's day should begin with a minimum temperature of four degrees, before clawing its way up to 12 degrees. Fathers across the rest of Australia will be rewarded with clear skies and a warm day. Perth will get to around 21 degrees, Darwin a very warm 32 degrees and Brisbane 26 degrees.
