Hot air will be briefly directed over the Harbour City on Sunday ahead of cool change. Warm and gusty northwesterly winds will help prevent the development of a cooling seabreeze, allowing the mercury to climb into the mid-30's by the early-afternoon. Given that winds will be quite gusty and the air will be dry, it will feel a few degrees cooler than the actual temperature. A cool southerly change is expected to arrive in the late-afternoon/early-evening, which will bring an abrupt drop in temperatures, so start your day early if you want to make the most of the hot weather.
