Areas of cloud across the tropics in a broad area of low pressure is triggering storms ans showers, mainly in the Top End. Patchy cloud over NSW and VIC in a trough is gradually dispersing due to strong winds aloft. Cloud is crossing TAS ahead of a front, but it's mostly dry.
