Cloud over southeast QLD and northeastern NSW in a trough is generating showers and thunderstorms. Cloud scattering across WA in another trough is causing the odd shower and storm. Skies are mostly clear in the NT, SA, TAS, VIC and southern NSW due to a region of high pressure.
