Cloud stretching from WA to NSW with a low pressure trough is generating patchy rain areas. Low cloud over TAS in the wake of a cold front is casuing showers. Cloud over the northern tropics in a region of low pressure is also bringing a few storms.
It will be a thundery end to the week in New South Wales, with storms possible each day from now until Sunday.
