Cloud over northeast NSW and eastern and northern QLD in an active trough is generating showers and storms. Cloud over the NT and eastern WA in a broad trough is causing showers and storm, mostly light. Cloud in SA, VIC and TAS in a weak trough is only bringing the odd shower.
Those in parts of the Northern Rivers had a thundery wake up call on Sunday morning as a storm rumbled overhead.
