Patchy low cloud ahead and with a cold front is producing showers over southern parts of WA and SA, TAS, VIC and southern NSW. Cloud over WA's west coast with a trough the odd offshore thunderstorm. Skies are generally clear elsewhere under a large high, leading to a cool night.
