Thick cloud about the Top End coast near a low is generating heavy rain and storms. Cloud scattering over parts of SA, TAS, VIC and southeastern NSW in brisk winds is bringing light showers and Alpine flurries. Cloud over WA in a weak trough is causing showers in the northwest.
