Brisbane has shivered through its coldest morning of the year with temperatures dropping to below zero in parts of southern Queensland.
Sydney has recorded its coldest morning of the year as temperatures dropped to 5.6 degrees Celsius in the city centre early on Sunday.
Icy and windy weather is blasting parts of the NSW central-west and Blue Mountains, although strong coastal winds are easing, the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) says.
