Final Flood Warning for the Loddon River Downstream of Laanecoorie Reservoir
Issued at 10:27 am EST on Wednesday 29 August 2012
In the 24 hours to 9 AM Wednesday no significant rainfall was recorded in the
Loddon River Catchment. No significant rainfall has been forecast for several
days.

High stream levels are expected to continue downstream of Loddon Weir for the
next several days.

Appin South
The Loddon River at Appin South is currently peaking below the Minor Flood
Level (2.8 metres). The river is expected to remain around this level for the
next several days.

Kerang
The Loddon River at Kerang is expected to peak below the Minor Flood Level
(77.0 metres AHD).

In the interests of community safety the SES suggests following precautions:
Don't walk, ride or drive through floodwater,
Don't allow children to play in floodwater,
Stay away from waterways and stormwater drains, and
Keep well clear of fallen power lines
