Coastal Waters Wind Warning
For Torres Strait to Cooktown.

Synoptic Situation
A high [1031 hPa] near New Zealand extends a firm ridge along the east coast of
Queensland. The high will continue moving very slowly east during the next
couple of days, and expected to weaken during today.

CANCELLED Strong Wind Warning
Torres Strait to Cooktown
SE winds are no longer expected to exceed 25 knots.



Please be aware
Wind gusts can be a further 40 percent stronger than the averages given here,
and maximum waves may be up to twice the height.
