Fire Ban Advice for Northern Territory

Issued at 3:57 am CST on Thursday 30 October 2014.

The Chief Fire Control Office, Bushfires NT and the Director, NT Fire and
Rescue Service have declared a FIRE BAN DAY for Thursday 30 October.
No Person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the
portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas. This includes the
BATCHELOR and ADELAIDE RIVER Emergency Response Areas, and the Litchfield and
Coomalie Shires. This does not include the DARWIN Emergency Response Area.
