A low should strengthen near northwest Australia, causing rain, strong winds and storms. Rain, wind and storms also for the wider tropics with the monsoon, and storms for inland parts of eastern states near a trough. Showers easing for eastern NSW as a trough weakens.

Tropical systems over the northern tropics will enhance gusty monsoonal rain, mostly for WA, the northern Top End and Qld. An inland trough and humid winds will bring more showers to western parts of Qld, NSW, Vic. Light showers along the east coast in cool, southerly winds.
