Easing SE swell around 2-3ft at south facing beaches early, with 1-2ft waves at remaining locations. Early W/SW winds tending SE into the a'noon.

Inconsistent 2ft waves at open beaches early, building to 3-4ft as a new short range swell fills in (upper end of this size range most likely to be found south of Sydney). Strengthening SE winds all day, may be light and variable for a period in Sydney and the Hunter (less likely in the south).

Large short range SE swell building to 6ft+ during the day. Fresh to strong SE winds in general.

Punchy short range SE swell easing to 4-6ft, with gusty winds swinging S'ly (may be SW for a brief period in select locations, such as the Northern Beaches).
