Snow Resort Cams - Weather Now

Alpine 14 Day Weather Commentary

A series of strong cold fronts have battered southeastern parts of Australia in the past week, although conditions are set to settle down giving rise to beautiful blue bird conditions.

A strong high pressure ridge is slowly moving over the Australian Alps leading to light winds and clear skies. Although virtually no snow is expected to fall in the coming days, conditions for mountain sports should be ideal.

These clear skies should also bring the opportunity for the ski resorts to fire up the snow guns to dust the runs with man made snow as temperatures drop overnight.

The next prospects of snow come in the form of a cold front passing over the ski fields around Thursday 7th and Friday 8th.

Issued Saturday 13:22
