Alpine forecast

Grey skies are clearing and conditions across the resorts are excellent for this time of year.

Recent huge snowfalls will compact by a few more centimetres over the coming days, but clear skies will make for great days on the slopes. Freezing nights mean the snow makers will be adding plenty to the natural depth.

The cold front due this weekend is only looking weak, but we should still see light snow fall in the south.

The next best chance of fresh snow is late next week and the following weekend when a decent front or two is likely.
