Alpine forecast

An excellent run of days to be on the slopes, with weak winds and generally clear skies until Saturday. Nights will certainly be cold enough for any necessary snow making.

A mix of rain, sleet and snow looks to spread in from the north on Sunday, combined with increased winds, and tending more to snow through early next week.

Spells of snow are on the cards at times leading into the beginning of September, but model uncertainty is high regarding timing and amounts at this stage, so it will be well worth keeping an eye on the extended forecast over the next few days.
