Alpine forecast

Skiing conditions are deteriorating due to warmth and rain. Although once it's done chilly nights will lead to good snow-making conditions.

Rain will fall during late Friday/Saturday. A front will then help rain turn to snow at the resorts this weekend.

A high will then take over, leading to cold nights, fit for snow-making, but warmer days.

Rain is then likely during Friday 9th/Saturday 10th before a colder spell increases the chance of fresh snow early in the middle of the following week.
