Thick cloud over WA and southern parts of the NT with a low pressure trough is generating areas of rain. Cloud over TAS with a nearby cold front is causing showers. Patchy cloud over SA and VIC with a cool and unstable westerly winds is bringing a few light showers.
Some are calling it the best day of the snow season so far, with 15-20cm+ falling over the Australian Alps overnight.
