Cloud forming over WA ahead of a strong front is bringing showers, mainly to the southwest. Patchy cloud over SA, TAS and VIC in a weak trough is only causing the odd shower. Cloud in eastern NSW and southeast QLD is thinning out as a low weakens, causing showers to become light.
