Cloud is spreading across the interior and inland NSW in strong upper winds, but only light rain is reaching the surface. A cloud band is crossing SA, triggering showers. A high is building in the southeast bringing settled conditions and and a cold morning in the southeast.
Icy and windy weather is blasting parts of the NSW central-west and Blue Mountains, although strong coastal winds are easing, the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) says.
