Australia Satellite Notes
Cloud over eastern NT and north QLD with a decaying low is bringing rain and a few storms, heaviest about the Gulf. Cloud crossing SA, VIC and TAS with a gusty cool change is only bringing the odd light shower. Cloud in northwest WA in a weak trough is causing a few storms.
With a few days to go until the official end to the summer season, it looks like parts of New South Wales could still see the odd drop of rain.
A weak cold front will clip the southern parts of South Australia today and reach Victoria in the afternoon.
Heavy rainfall that caused flooding across southern Western Australia a week ago has filled Perth's river systems with sediment and nutrients, as well as potentially harmful bacteria.
