Temperatures drop in Tasmania

Temperatures drop in Tasmania
A cold front will cross Tasmania on Tuesday morning bringing a wintry blast and low level snow. The temperatures in Hobart will be around 7-8 degrees early in the morning and despite climbing to the low teens during the afternoon, blustery winds will make it feel like single figures all day. The air will also be cold enough for snow down to about 600m above sea level in southern Tasmania behind the front, and above 1000m elsewhere. The top of Mount Wellington will be cold, windy and snowy. Tuesday will be Hobart's coldest day so far this year if the mercury stays under 12.6 degrees. Temperatures will climb back up for the remainder of the week as a large high pressure system moves in behind tomorrow's front.
