Sunshine for the snow fields
Rosebud Lambert

A broad high pressure system has brought excellent conditions to the ski fields today, providing light winds and clear blue skies.
Resorts in VIC and NSW have both enjoyed the weather, which also provided ripe conditions for snow making. Overnight temperatures dropped well below zero, with maximums staying just above freezing. Charlotte Pass was the coldest of the resorts last night, dropping to -14 degrees, the lowest minimum since July last year.
Sunday will see an increase in cloud with winds also increasing. Snow showers should develop from the evening and will continue on Monday, bringing another 5-10cm of fresh snow.
Further ahead another high should begin to dominate from Wednesday, bringing good conditions for enjoying the snow in the second half of the week.
