Some areas of southern Australia are having their warmest November day in more than a decade today. Warm northerly blowing across SA, Victoria and Tasmania have caused temperatures climbing more than 15 degrees above average today. Locations in all three states are having their warmest day since January and some places have recorded their highest November temperature in more than 10 years. Some of the standout maximum temperatures as of 4pm AEDT were: - Cape Jaffa (SA) 37C - warmest day since January and warmest November day since 2009 - Cape Nelson (Vic) 37C - warmest day since January - Scotts Peak Dam (Tas) 33C - warmest day since January - Melbourne (Vic) 34C - warmest day since February - Maatsuyker Island (Tas) 27C - warmest November day since 2003 - Cape Bruny (Tas) 29C - warmest November day since 2010 For Adelaide, Tuesday was the sixth consecutive day above 30C, which is the city's longest spell of days over 30C this early in the season for eight years. A cool change sweeping over the southeast today and tomorrow will drop temperatures by 10-15 degrees in less than 24 hours for some places.
