The Queensland Government says it will put extra resources into dealing with a dengue fever outbreak in north Queensland if required.
More than 90 cases of the mosquito-borne illness have been reported in recent weeks.
Health Minister Stephen Roberston says Queensland's chief health officer is in Cairns today to meet special response teams that were set up to deal with the outbreak.
"We know that they've been working flat, so they'll be hearing first-hand in terms of any additional resources they need to deal with dengue [fever] so we're on to that issue," he said.
