Making the most of the Melbourne sunshine

Making the most of the Melbourne sunshine
The sunny skies won't stick around for long in Melbourne. The next few days will be ideal if you have outdoor events planned as it will be one of the longest stretches of warm, sunny and dry weather Melbourne will see for a long time. For the next three days, daytime temperatures are expected to reach the mid-20's, much higher than the April average of 20 degrees. Cloud will build on Thursday, heralding the arrival of a low pressure trough. By Friday, the spell of warm and sunny weather will be broken as the rain sets in over Victoria. Even though there will be some sunshine over the weekend, temperatures expected to take a downward trend as the next cold front approaches. Looking into the following week, several cold fronts are expected to sweep over southern parts of the state - making this the last opportunity to enjoy the warm and sunny days.
