Showers and thunderstorms are forecast across New South Wales today but the threat of flash flooding is expected to ease.
Storms and heavy downpours wreaked havoc across parts of New South Wales over the weekend.
The State Emergency Service received more than 13 hundred calls for assistance, the majority on Saturday night when heavy rainfall caused flash flooding in Sydney's north.
Elly Sparks from the Bureau of Meteorology says the only cause for concern today are thunderstorms over the western inland.
"But we're not expecting any wide spread problems like we've been having over the last couple of days." she said.
State Emergency Services Minister Steve Whan says people still need to be careful.
"Don't drive through flood waters and keep clear of any storm water drains and powerlines that might fall."
