Fog causes Sydney airport delays

Thursday June 4, 2009 - 09:13 EST

Thick fog is causing delays and diversions at Sydney airport this morning.

A spokesman for the Airport says while some international flights have landed on time this morning, others have diverted to Melbourne and Brisbane where they will wait until the fog lifts.

He says passengers should expect delays in arrivals and departures of half an hour or more.

The fog has also caused delays on the Parramatta River Cat.
