Friday July 30, 2010 - 07:46 EST

The New South Wales State Emergency Service (SES) says a flood-watch is still in place for the Namoi and Peel rivers.

Rainfall overnight has been relatively light but the Bureau of Meteorology is expecting heavier falls early this afternoon.

The Namoi region SES is advising motorists to take care on Whitehorse Lane at Goonoo Goonoo Road.

There are reports of some water and debris across the road.
