Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Perth dampening for mum

Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Perth dampening for mum
Mums in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Perth will have to watch out for rain on Mother's Day if they're heading out. Low pressure troughs in both the east and west of the country will make at least some of the day wet in these cities and surrounds. A trough in the east is deepening and gaining moisture. Showers had already started falling in Brisbane on Saturday and had been closing in on Sydney and Canberra but should hold off until Saturday night. On Mother’s Day, Brisbane mums can expect showers during the morning and afternoon, adding up to about five-to-10 millimetres, more near bayside. ySdney and Canberra can also expect a damp morning and afternoon but it shouldn't be quite as wet as in Brisbane. Perth mums will have to put up with wind and rain but not until mid afternoon, so maybe brekky or early lunch is best if heading out. From mid afternoon it looks increasingly wintry with frequent showers and gusty winds kicking in. In contrast, Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide and Darwin are all looking dry.
