Coastal Waters Wind Warning
For the Northwest Gulf of Carpentaria
Issued at 10:55 am CST on Thursday 2 May 2013

Synoptic situation
A moderate to fresh southeast flow is expected to continue over the Gulf of
Carpentaria as Ex-Tropical Cyclone Zane crosses far north Queensland and
weakens further as it enters northern Gulf of Carpentaria waters.


Winds are no longer expected to exceed 25 knots.

No further warnings will be issued.

Please be aware
Wind gusts can be a further 40 percent stronger than the averages given here,
and maximum waves may be up to twice the height.
