Severe Tropical Cyclone Ferdinand

Severe Tropical Cyclone Ferdinand is a severe category 3 tropical cyclone, located well off the WA coast. Ferdinand will move slowly towards the west southwest over the next few days, remaining well north of the WA mainland. During Thursday, the system may begin a weakening trend, possibly dropping below tropical cyclone intensity late in the week or during the weekend.

No significant impacts are expected over the WA mainland.
